What gets extracted
Revenue/earnings guidance, capex plans, margin outlook, capacity and demand commentary — all as structured JSON fields, comparable across companies and quarters.
What we deliberately do not do
We do not run tone analysis or emit a 'management confidence score'. Compressing a Mandarin call into a sentiment number looks scientific but depends heavily on segmentation and lexicon choice — swap the lexicon, swap the conclusion.
Where wording is ambiguous we do not guess a number; we mark it uncertain and cite the source sentence. Failed extractions are left blank rather than filled with estimates to make the table look complete.
