Taiwan Insider Holdings — only what was disclosed, never why

The standard misreading of an insider page is “they sold, so they are bearish”. This page deliberately refuses that conclusion. What you see is not insider behaviour but the projection of a disclosure regime: it has a threshold (movements below a size need no filing), a deadline (the filing date and the trade date are not the same day) and categories (transfer, gift, pledge and inheritance mean different things). Treating that projection as the world itself is mistaking a measurement convention for a fact.

What the fields are, and the state of each row

Each row returns the person's capacity (director, supervisor, officer, major shareholder), shares held, shares pledged, pledge ratio, filing date, effective or trade date and disclosure category, and each is labelled as a disclosed filing rather than a trade we observed. Filing dates and trade dates are not aligned by us — the regime permits a gap, and forcing them together would manufacture a series that never existed.

Threshold and deadline: what this data cannot see

Disclosure obligations carry a size threshold; movements below it appear in no filing and therefore on no page here. Stated plainly: no recorded change does not mean no change. The statutory deadline likewise makes the most recent window structurally incomplete. We do not extrapolate, fill or estimate a filing; unpublished periods are marked undetermined with the gap named.

No motive, no accusation

A sale can be tax planning, a pledge release, a family arrangement, a trust transfer or a departure settlement — or nothing at all. A change in share count cannot yield a motive, and writing it up as “insiders are bearish” would be our unevidenced judgement inserted into your data. We infer no motive and make no allegation of wrongdoing. A high pledge ratio is likewise a description, not a verdict; we show pledged shares, total holdings and the series side by side and leave the reading to you.

What this page is not for

It emits no directional conclusion, no ranking, no “insiders selling” list, no signal and no target price. Compressing a disclosure record into an arrow erases the threshold, the deadline and the category differences described above. Use it as a place to start asking which category, how old the filing is and what else was filed that period — the answer lives in the filing, not in an arrow.
