Taiwan Industry Map — the layer above the single stock
After the stock and its peers, one layer is still missing: where does the whole industry sit in the market? The industry map lays official-classification aggregates into a heatmap, each cell labelled with its sample size and formula, so “this stock is weak” is never confused with “the whole sector is weak”.
What each cell is
One industry, one dimension, with the aggregation method and sample size printed on the cell. We deliberately do not compress dimensions into a single “sector strength score”: weighting across different units requires coefficients with no justification, and the result cannot be recomputed by anyone.
Known limits
Official industry codes are coarse — upstream materials and downstream brands can share a code. Aggregates describe the classification, not every member, and thin-sample sectors should be read as noise. That is why sample size is always shown.
