Taiwan Piotroski F-Score — nine strength checks, open formula
The Piotroski F-score rates financial strength 0–9 across nine checks (profitability, leverage/liquidity, efficiency). We compute it in-house from official MOPS statements — open formula, per-line contributions, snapshot-aware.
The nine checks
Four profitability signals, three leverage/liquidity signals, two efficiency signals — one point each, max 9. Every score is expandable to see which line item scored.
What we deliberately do not do
We do not rank high scorers or ship an 'F-score screening list'. All nine checks are accounting-side; a wildly overpriced company in a declining industry can still score nine.
We also do not merge the F-score with other scores into an overall quality ranking. The per-line breakdown is always exposed, because the informative part is which checks improved — not the headline total.
